Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 TBSP baking powder
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 1/2 TBSP salt
- 1/2 cup melted butter (unsalted)
Directions
Combine all wet ingredients in a bowl. In a separate bowl, sift all dry ingredients. Push the flour mixture to the sides of the bowl. Pour all of the wet ingredients into the center of the dry ingredients. With a wooden spoon or stiff rubber spatula, fold until the dough comes together. It is important that you do not over work the dough, but also make sure that there is no dry clumps of flour left. Scoop drop biscuits onto a greased baking pan.
Bake in a preheated oven at 400 degrees for 8 minutes, turning the pan half way through the cooking process to ensure even baking.
